Daystar Peterson, better known by his stage name Tory Lanez, was born in Canada on July 27, 1992. He is a rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. The mixtape Conflicts of My Soul: The 416 Story, which was released in August 2013, helped him gain his first notoriety. 2015 saw Tory Lanez join with Mad Love Records, a label run by music producer Benny Blanco.
I Told You (2016), Lanez’s first studio album, featured the singles “Say It” and “Luv,” which respectively reached at number 23 and 19 on the Billboard Hot 100. Kai is the son of Tory. In 2017, he became a father. He excitedly welcomed his child for the first time. He withheld the mother of Kai’s name though. Lanez discussed his love of children and how they have always gravitated toward him in an interview with Vibe. He said, “I don’t know why, but youngsters have always been drawn to me.” Kai and Tory had a close bond that was very strong. They had a strong relationship and were always close. Kai also often spends time with his father and is always supportive of him. Kai has a wonderful father in Tory, who always looks out for his wellbeing.
